Communication Folders

One of the best things I did last year was having a communication folder.  I created a SAFARI folder for my classroom since I had a jungle theme last year.

It was a great way to always make sure that my students had their homework and their spelling word list.  I also put in blank paper so parents could write to me if needed.  Here are some sample pages from my SAFARI folder last year.
After creating my SAFARI folder last year, I created a lot of different themes as well.
{If you have purchased one of these already, you may want to go and redownload it.  I have added a couple more pages that you can edit to fit your needs.}

You can find all of these at my Teachers Pay Teachers or Teachers Notebook shop.

I plan on making more themes this summer.  If you have a specific request, please let me know and I'll add it to my list.  {I know I will not get to everyone's request, but I will do the most popular ones and ones I have, or can get, clip art for.}

These look great. I love how all of them have a different saying that goes with each letter of the title :) Thanks for sharing.

These are awesome! As part of AYP school improvement in my school, we have to list any parent contact we have with our parents...this would be wonderful to help me add to that and keep my parents informed!

Hey Jodi! I LOVE this! I just finished my first year of first grade and I now know I want one of these! My room theme is the Circus or the Big Top. So anything with red, blue, and yellow, animals, and red/white stripes. Let me know if you end up making a Circus themed one! Thanks so much!

I have been doing something similar the last couple of years. this year I was thinking of adding spelling lists for the whole year. some parents like to get a jump start with their children. I'm going to check out your themes, yours look so much nicer than what I did.

I am a follower of your and would love for you to follow me.

LOVE these folders! I have a Dr. Seuss theme in my first grade class, so if you get around to making one along these lines, I would love to get one!

My team have been using the communication binders and I absolutely love their effectiveness! I may be swayed to purchase yours if you offered a turtle theme.
